Long-Term Substitute – Special Education

Belle Creek Charter School, located in Henderson, is seeking a Long-Term Substitute for a Special Education classroom.    Anticipated start date is mid-August.  The assignment will be for approximately twelve-weeks. 

Compensation:  $136.00/day

Essential Job Functions:

• Implementation of the instructional program
• Plan for and guide the learning process;
• Maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning;
• Maintain open communication with students, parents, and co-workers;
• Maintain student confidentiality; and
• Work collaboratively to achieve the purposes of the school program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a Special Education License issued by the Colorado Department of Education.

Preferred Characteristics: 

• At least one year experience with Core Knowledge Curriculum
• Three years of teaching experience
